These prices and packages have been created in response to the varying needs of our couples, and we feel we have created something to fairly fit a variety of needs and budgets. All packages include Rev. Kita's service as your wedding officiant, and the filing of the marriage license. The following will explain the features that distinguish our various packages from one another: Our Most Popular Packages Budget-Conscious Packages Custom Ceremony: $425 (*plus any applicable travel fee*) --custom-created ceremony (10-45 min in length) --deluxe keepsake marriage certificate --access to our online guide --optional in-person meeting with Rev. Kita --mini-rehearsal on the day of the ceremony (30-60 minutes before ceremony) Basic Ceremony: $300 (*plus any applicable travel fee*) --your choice of one of 7 SoulMates "stock"  (pre-written) ceremonies (10-12 minutes long) --addition of 1-2 of the following optional traditions: giving away of the bride, lighting of the unity candle, breaking of the glass, and/or jumping of the broom --no customization --no in-person meeting, no rehearsal *Pre-written ceremonies included with this package are NOT the sample custom ceremonies you see on this website. *Every ceremony includes the following: welcoming address, question of consent, promise, vows, ring exchange, & closing words. The "Quickie" Wedding: --available Mon-Thurs, 9am-8pm ONLY** --standard pre-written civil-style ceremony- (under 5 minutes in length) --no rehearsal, no in-person meeting- in office: $150 (maximum 6 guests; takes place in Rev. Kita's home office located in Bear, DE - couple must obtain Delaware marriage license, but do not need to be Delaware residents.) on location: $200 (*plus any applicable travel fee*) **This package is also available on the weekend for an additional $25 in-office, or $50 on location. Most Popular Add-ons: --Add a rehearsal to any package that does not include one: $125  (*plus any applicable travel fee*) --Add an in-person meeting to any package that does not include one: $50 --Add a same-day (30-60 minutes before ceremony) "mini-rehearsal" to any package that does not include one: $25   ~A Note about our Packages & Pricing Policies~ Yes, as a member of the clergy,  of course I want to be nice..... However, I provide a valuable and specialized service.... Therefore, I must mention that these prices and terms are non-negotiable. SoulMates specializes in custom wedding ceremonies, and provides a high level of service. If you are looking for an officiant to simply “show up and read us our “I Do’s”, that's absolutely fine---In that case, perhaps one of our budget options (such as the "Quickie” or “Basic” Packages) would fit your needs best. Some officiants or officiant groups include all of the optional services and charge a higher "one size fits all" fee, while many won't even tell you what they charge until they meet with you. I believe that you should be offered the option to choose which specific services you need and want for your day. I also give you all the information up front, since I believe that any other way is less than fair. SoulMates is not the most expensive officiant service around. However, if you're looking for the cheapest officiant, that's not us either. Usually, "cheap" wedding officiants are either: 1) brand new to the profession 2) part-timers, with bigger priorities than your wedding day 3) offer a very limited service, with lots of restrictions on what you can and can't have for your day. If this sort of service meets your needs, that's perfectly okay, and I sincerely wish you well. However, if what you want is an officiant who is an experienced, full-time wedding professional---someone who runs their business like a business, and takes your wedding day as seriously as you do---then look no further, because that's SoulMates. Please call for details on rehearsal options and travel charges. Packages may also be customized to fit your unique needs by adding* "a la carte" items to an existing package. (*no substitutions---additions to existing packages only*) Travel Charges, A La Carte Services, & Special Discounts ~Travel Charges~ There may be additional charges for travel time, depending on the location of your ceremony and the package you choose. When necessary, these charges are usually minimal, but can vary from $25-$100 for packages that don't include a separate rehearsal, and $50-$200 for packages that do. We will not be able to calculate your exact travel fee until we know the exact location of your ceremony, as well as which package you choose for your ceremony. Weddings that are scheduled on a major holiday or holiday weekend will have a surcharge of $25-$100, depending on the holiday. Please call for details. ~A La Carte~ Customize any package by adding any of the following "add-on" items: ---Provision by your officiant of a larger public address system and/or multiple microphones (small system with one microphone provided by Rev. Kita free of charge): $50-$150 (depending on size/complexity of system required, # of mics, etc.) ---Recorded wedding ceremony music on CD & personnel to “run” it: $150 ---A “day of” wedding ceremony assistant/coordinator: $175   (includes providing/playing recorded music on CD, as above) ---Exclusive booking rights to your officiant for your entire day: $200 (this would allow for a full rehearsal on the day of, at any time after 9am, and would also include your officiant staying to give a blessing over the meal. This also gives some brides the added peace of mind that their officiant has no other commitments on that day, especially if you are concerned that your ceremony may not start on time. The time limit on exclusivity is 8 hours, maximum time, for the officiant to be at your location.) ---Officiant stays to say blessing at meal: $100  (this would be included with exclusive booking rights) ---One extra hour of time allotted with your officiant: $50  (helpful if you are worried that your ceremony may not start on time, or just want the extra peace of mind of having your officiant arrive earlier than usual, or stay later... This extra hour may also be used to do a full "day of" rehearsal that is up to 2 hours before the scheduled ceremony start time) *no substitutions---additions to existing packages only* ~Discounts~ Please ask about terms of the following when you call: Weddings in the months of November, December, January, February, & March receive a $25 discount. (unless your date falls on a major holiday---then holiday rates apply.) Weddings on a week day/night (Monday-Thursday ONLY) will receive a $25 discount.
